Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: September 27, 2024

DBuiltek provides digital signature services for electronically signing design, architecture, and construction project documents. You agree to the following terms and conditions by signing any document electronically.

1. Eligibility

As a signer, you may be a customer, employee, contractor, or other authorized party involved in DBuiltek projects. By signing a document, you confirm that you have the legal authority and understand that your digital signature is binding.

2. Consent to Electronic Signatures

You consent to using digital signatures by applicable laws by signing a document electronically. Your digital signature has the same legal effect as a handwritten signature, and you waive any rights to claim that the electronic signature is invalid solely because it is digital.

3. Verification of Identity

As a signer, you must verify your identity using secure methods DBuiltek provides before completing the signature process. DBuiltek reserves the right to request additional forms of identification or verification to confirm the signature's authenticity.

4. Responsibility of the Signer

By signing the document, you acknowledge that you have reviewed it and understand its contents. Once a digital signature is provided, it cannot be altered or revoked without all parties' consent.

5. Data Security

DBuiltek employs security measures to protect the integrity and confidentiality of documents and digital signatures. As a signer, you must ensure your account credentials are secure and not shared with unauthorized parties.

6. Document Retention

DBuiltek will retain signed documents according to company policies. As a signer, you may receive a copy of the signed document. You are responsible for maintaining your copy of the signed document if necessary.

7. Revocation of Consent

If you wish to revoke your consent to provide digital signatures on future documents, you must give written notice to DBuiltek. The revocation of consent will not apply to documents already signed.

8. Legal Compliance

All digital signatures must comply with local, national, and international laws. As a signer, you are responsible for ensuring that your digital signature complies with the law, and DBuiltek will not be held liable for any illegal use of digital signatures.

9. Amendments

DBuiltek reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Signers will be notified of any significant changes through official company communications.

10. Limitation of Liability

DBuiltek is not liable for any damages or disputes arising from the misuse or unauthorized use of digital signatures. The signer is responsible for the accuracy and legality of their signature on the document, and DBuiltek is not responsible for the document's content.

11. Governing Law

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed by the laws of the United States without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

By signing any document through DBuiltek’s digital signature service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
